SAN FRANCISCO, CA. – March 2, 2008 -- Connell Bros. Company, Ltd., and Southern Clay Products, Inc., a subsidiary of Rockwood Holdings, Inc., today announced an agreement to expand their exclusive distribution and collaboration relationship to include China and Taiwan. Before this agreement, Connell Bros. represented SCP/Rockwood in India, Japan Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. CBC will market and distribute SCP’s line of rheological additives used widely in the Coatings, Construction, Personal Care and other industries.

Beginning March 2, 2009, Southern Clay Products’ line of rheological products, sold under the Claytone, Tixogel, Garamite, Bentolite, Gel White, and Mineral Colloids brand names, will be handled by CBC in these two additional territories bringing total coverage to nine countries in Asia.
