SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. — November 3, 2008 — Wilbur-Ellis Company announced today the purchase of Selsen Flavours & Ingredients Taiwan, Inc., (Selsen) a Food Ingredients distribution business in Taiwan. The Selsen business will be transferred to Connell Bros. Co. (Taiwan) Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Connell Bros. division of Wilbur-Ellis Company, and merged with CBC Taiwan’s existing Food Ingredients business.
Selsen was established by majority shareholder and managing director, Christina Lee, in 2001. Lee will be joining CBC Taiwan to manage the combined Food Ingredients business.
